King Arthur is a CEFR A1 Reader in the Helbling Readers Red Series, adapted by Liz Uttley from the legend as retold in Howard Pyle's The Story of King Arthur and His Knights. The book gives lower-secondary learners a short graded route into Camelot: Arthur grows up in secret, pulls Excalibur from the stone, listens to Merlin, and builds the Round Table.
