Wuthering Heights is a Helbling Readers Blue Series Reader for CEFR B1 learners, a graded story adapted from Emily Brontë's 1847 novel by Janet Borsbey and Ruth Swan. It includes the reader text, audio through the Helbling Media App, and interactive e-zone activities. On the Yorkshire moors, Mr Earnshaw brings home the orphan Heathcliff; later Catherine chooses Edgar Linton for status, and Heathcliff returns rich to take revenge on both families. The adaptation keeps the Lockwood and Nelly Dean frame and the contrast between Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange. It works well for a lyceum Romantic or Gothic module, especially beside Jane Eyre when comparing Heathcliff with Rochester or treating the moors as part of the story.
