Dracula is a Helbling Blue Series Reader for A2/B1 English learners, adapted by David A. Hill from Bram Stoker's 1897 novel. Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania to help Count Dracula buy a house in London, then discovers that his host is a vampire. Later Dracula reaches England, attacks Lucy Westenra, and is hunted by Van Helsing's group back toward the Borgo Pass. The book keeps diary entries, letters, and ship logs, so students meet useful text types for exam writing. It works well for a Gothic or Halloween reading module, especially with Frankenstein or Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Audio is available through the Helbling Media App, with extra activities on Helbling e-zone.
