The Snow Queen is a 32-page Helbling Young Readers Classics Reader at CEFR A2, adapted by Richard Northcott from Hans Christian Andersen's 1844 tale. Kay is wounded by splinters from an evil mirror and carried away to the Snow Queen's ice palace; Gerda follows him through the magic garden and the robber girl's camp with the reindeer. Stage F uses the most advanced language in the series, with 5-6 lines per spread. Good for Grade 2-3 learners working on Flyers themes such as winter weather, journeys, palaces, sleighs, and reindeer.
