Academy Stars 2nd Edition Starter - Pupil's Book + Digital PB is the main learner coursebook for Macmillan's British English primary course at CEFR pre-A1. It is aimed at ages 5-6 and covers classroom language, colours, numbers 1-10, family, body, animals and food. Starter has no separate Workbook: alphabet work, tracing, first letter formation and early sight-word reading are built into the Pupil's Book. The printed book comes with Digital PB access through Macmillan Education Hub and Navio App, with audio, interactive practice, automatic marking for closed tasks and offline home use. This level gives orientation toward Pre-A1 Starters, while formal Cambridge YLE tasks begin later in the course.
